Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving! I love any excuse to get a little festive and Thanksgiving is no exception. I love coming home for Thanksgiving, our family isn't too big so we are able to do individual place settings. I don't get too crazy with it but it doesn't take a lot to make a big impact.
For this year's tablescape, I used the runner I picked up earlier this fall from Target (similar here) and just brought in the pumpkins from the front porch. I added a little greenery I already had and it was done!
For the place settings, I used my Ikea dishes and just added leftover napkins and gold silverware from our Canadian Thanksgiving.
Throw a little pumpkin on there with a homemade "grateful" leaf and it looks great!
I picked up a few cute serving dishes from Walmart, along with these placemats which made the table really come together for super cheap.
Each year we usually do some sort of "Thankful" decoration, where everyone adds what they are thankful for. A lot of time this gets pushed to the last minute, so I loved the idea of just using what you have around the house. Again, grab one of those pumpkins from the front porch and a sharpie and you have the cutest 'Thankful Pumpkin'. So easy and practically free!
Much Love,
