Baby Proofing
Now that our girls are on the move and curious about what’s inside every cupboard, behind the door or even under the toilet seat - I have been baby proofing the house so that they can explore and play safely. This is not the first time I have used baby proofing products and between the two girls I have found some products that I love to use and want to share with you, they are all linked below.
Baby Proofing Must Haves:
1. Stove Knob Covers: By being clear, you won’t even notice these covers are there, but it’s a great way to keep your kids from turning on the stove!
2. Baby Locks: You can use these for almost anything, we use them on our toilets.
3. Self Closing Outlets: These might be worth the effort if you have many years ahead of needing baby proofed plugs.
4. Up and Away: Super simple and easy to use, these are great for keeping cords up and away from little hands.
5. Corner Protectors: Kids love to run around and these protectors are a great way to prevent them from bumping their heads.
6. Lever Handle: The best way to make sure your kids are inside and safe.
7. Furniture Anchors: These help to prevent your little climber from pulling over furniture and hurting themselves.
8. Safety Plugs: The safety plugs from Bink are cute and extremely practical!
Other Must Haves (not pictured):
Door Slam Guard: Another great Bink product, and an easy way to protect little fingers.
Finger Guard: Same as above, it’s another way to make sure jammed fingersand toes dont happen!
Clear Corner Protector: Just another product to help protect little one’s heads!
Magnetic Cabinet Locks: These are amazing when you are trying to keep tiny hands out of the pantry.
So many of these products are small and neutral, which means they will keep your little ones safe while blending in with your home decor. Installation of these products is simple and the few hours it may take you will be so worth it when your little one crawls up to the toilet or tries to open the back door. Baby proofing isn’t just for babies, but toddlers as well, so products like the door lever with a decoy button are great. If I need to step away to grab something from another room, I can be sure my girls are in the house and away from anything that might be dangerous.
If you have any questions about the products I have linked above, I’d love to chat on my Instagram post! Good luck baby proofing!
Much Love,
