The Silver Fox Tour: Our Airstream

We finally got our Airstream!

If you have been here for a while, then you know we have been talking about this for a couple of years. We had planned on getting one last year, but it just was not the right time. The hubby even gifted me this little toy airstream as kind of promise to get one in the future.

Due to, well. . . life, we didn’t get to do much camping this summer, but that didn’t stop me from getting it all ready for next summer! The airstream is so nice as is, that there wasn’t much to do, but I did swap out some bedding, throw pillows and added just a couple touches to warm the place up a little. That is the one thing I am missing about the TomCat - there was so much of me in that RV, it really felt more like a home. Without further ado, here is the Airstream, aka The Silver Fox. He is a 30 foot flying cloud bunk edition. Definitely bigger than we wanted, but with three kids, we had to spring for the bunk option! In my dream world we would have gotten either the Globetrotter or they just released a new Pottery Barn edition Airstream that I have been drooling over, but it’s just not practical for a family of five. Our Flying Cloud is beautiful, though, and we went with the Seattle Mist interior which is so nice and neutral.
