What I Packed For a Winter Weekend Away

You may have seen photos or stories over on my Instagram from our winter weekend away at a cottage. It was so nice to just pack up and escape for a few days! We spent time lounging around the cottage as a family, explored the village we were visiting, but also enjoyed moments playing in the snow with our kids. Winter isn’t always the nicest time of year, but weekends like this really help us to embrace the colder weather and still get lots of fresh air and family time. My readers often love seeing what I put in my suitcase for various trips and this one was pretty easy, just lots of warm and comfy pieces!

ONE TIP: If you’re wanting to keep your luggage small, try to focus on pieces you can mix and match. I kept my pieces very neutral so I could create many outfits with only a few items. Of course, coats and boots are bulky, but my layering underneath stayed very basic.
