THE EDIT #12 / Our Montreal Trip
We were in Montreal last week to take in the end of season activities and catch-up with friends. Here were some of the highlights of our stay!
Since we had the girls with us we ended up staying in Brossard. Easy drive to Candiac to see friends and close to the practice rink. But we actually really enjoyed staying there. Everything you could need is within walking distance, and there are some great restaurants there. The area just keeps growing and we love seeing what’s new.
2/ Escondite Mexican Restaurant (went to one of the downtown locations but they do have one in DIX30)
Went for a work lunch and it was great. The chips and guac were delicious and probably the best spicy marg I have ever had.
I had been on a waiting list for mammogram in BC for far too long so while I was in Montreal, I decided to pop in to VM for the first time. I was blown away with this place, and sounds like so many of you love it as much as I did.
4/ Bell Center
Of course went to the last game of the season and had to stop by the team store to check out Line Change’s 2023-24 Collection
5/ Turo
I continue to get asked about car rentals, especially because this time we rented a truck (Carey’s request of course). If you are not using Turo when you travel what are you doing?! So much faster and easier and MUCH better selection than the traditional car rental places.
