What is in My Medicine Cabinet
It’s been quite a few months since I made the change to more non-toxic beauty products, so I wanted to do an updated post of what products you will find in my bathroom cabinet these days.
Finding a clean toothpaste has been hard for me, all the popular options I couldn’t get on board with. They just didn’t leave my teeth with the clean feeling that my old Crest toothpaste did. I stumbled upon this BOKA toothpaste and it was everything I was missing in a clean toothpaste. It is a little more expensive so this is toothpaste just mama uses. The hubby and girls use Toms toothpaste because they don’t seem to mind it.
I absolutely love this stuff! Using an oil to cleanse your face took a little getting used to, but now I will never ever go back!
They also have the 3.“Natural Botox” duo which I have used throughout my pregnancies and while breastfeeding. They gave me great results!
4. Beauty From Bees Face Moisturizer
I have been really diving in to Beauty From Bees products and have found some great ones, like their moisturizer. I have really dry skin, so I am super picky and this one seems to do the job!
I also really like their dry shampoo, muscle mend and of course their entire kids line is awesome!
5. Milk Anti-Frizz Leave-In Nourishing Treatment
This product is great for hydrating frizzy hair and cutting down on fly aways, plus the mini size is really affordable and it smells amazing!
Another oil that I’ve been loving, the packaging is black (which I love) and it really helps to keep your hair healthy. Again, oils can take a bit to get used to, but if you stick with it, they can provide really great results.
7. Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Gel for Acne
I love this for blemishes. Note: some people are sensitive to tea tree oil (like me), so I have to be very careful to just get a tiny dot on my blemish and try to avoid my skin because it will dry it out so bad, but I keep using it! It just works that good!
I also really love their face wipes.
. . . and of course my self tanner! You all know that I love SunnaTan products. I use the 9. Colour me Dark for my body and then use the 8. Keep Me Golden spray for my face.
