Easter Basket Ideas for Kids
The “Easter Bunny” comes next weekend and you probably fit into one of two categories: the parent who has been ready for weeks, with the baskets hidden and ready to go OR you’re the parent who has just started to think about the holiday and is still looking for last minute, unique ideas for each child’s basket.
If you’re the latter, don’t worry! I’ve gathered some really great ideas that you can shop in store or online! A few stops at Chapters, Target or any of the websites below and you’ll be ready for a really fun Easter morning with the kids.
The above really simple and adorable Rope Easter Basket is a great investment that will last your littles for years to come!
Petit Lem has PJs for every holiday, I’m loving this Tulip Print Set and this Mr. Bunny Sleeper.
Forget chocolate bunnies, your kids will love finding Bunny Bait Trail Mix or Caramel Bunny Trail Mix in their baskets.
If you’re looking for Easter books that your kids will love, try these:
The Great Eggscape
Little Blue Truck Spring Time
Construction Site, Spring Delight
Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring
God Gave Us Easter
My girls love anything bright and colorful, so I found a few extra items for their baskets. Liv is at the age where a Rainbow Notebook and Positive Pens will keep her entertained as she draws and writes her own little notes. Millie, on the other hand, will enjoy playing with Bubbles and decorating her notebook with Easter Stickers.
All three kids love Jellycat and an Easter basket would not be complete without a new stuffed animal!
Jellycat Bashful Bunny
Jellycat Little Chick
Jellycat Sweet Sprout
It’s definitely been an adventure these last few years trying to find items for both the girls and now Lincoln, too, but every kid loves books, candy and a stuffed animal! The best tip I can give you is to keep it simple. Kids don’t need anything extravagant to have fun and enjoy the day! I’d love to know what you’re including in this year’s Easter basket and how you celebrate on Easter morning. It’s so much fun to read about other family’s traditions and holidays!
Much Love,
